Ep12a: A Hodge Podge of TE

12aFightEpisode 12a of the Lunchpail Platoon Podcast brought 1994 to the table and wow, was it a battle year. So many huge games were released in 1994 that it was impossible for all of them to get through, which makes for great (and hilarious) conversation. The cast starts off and Ben is already in the bag, having guzzled a few liters of home brew cider, but puts out some great info on Final Fantasy III while Jaime backs him up. Kerry lays his heart on the line for Donkey Kong Country as it was his first pre-ordered game ever. Andrew tries to make a case for NBA Jam:TE but Ben's dislike for Charles Barkley's 3-pointers leaves Andrew gasping for air as he's thoroughly trounced. Then comes the major battle as Curtis spearheads the assault for Earthworm Jim and Andrew fights for Super Metroid. In what is probably the most ridiculous conversation yet, the LP2 banter and make shit up until only one game is left standing. This podcast is over an hour long and is guaranteed to make your sides hurt with laughter.

I'm glad you mentioned this, cause there's always been the option to download the mp3's if you view the Non-iPod RSS feed (top right) cause its just an xml file, but most people hadn't noticed it, and also Chrome doesnt parse RSS feeds (seriously, they must be trying to push google reader, but wtf, its 2009)
