Ep14: Add a Little Bing-Bong

This episode was recorded at the end of a night of drinking. Now that you have the lead up, you might understand these rants a bit better. I'm not sure how to even write a lead in for this episode actually. Discussions include unions, work, the LGBT community, pro gaming and fuck me a lot of swearing. I should point out that we were asking for Curt to put the Bing-Bong OVER the questionable content, not AFTER, but I think you'll laugh more this way, so enjoy this shitshow. Now expect some special features coming later this week called "Gamer Stories" that focus some more on, well, stories about gaming from gamers.

Ep12b: This Should be Good

Starting right where 12a left off, the LP2 take their drunken ramblings to the PC side of things for 1994. Kerry starts off with the epic and notorious DOOM II. Jaime helps explain the differences between Doom and Doom 2 while Andrew huffs and puffs over the departed Super Metroid. Next up is Rise of the Triads which is described as "extremely bizarre" and "had magic mushrooms". Ben lays some info down on Warcraft and how it's Orcs vs Humans. Many insults are hurled as the PC games Cut The Crust and the Honourable Mention is decided.

Ep12a: A Hodge Podge of TE

Episode 12a of the Lunchpail Platoon Podcast brought 1994 to the table and wow, was it a battle year. So many huge games were released in 1994 that it was impossible for all of them to get through, which makes for great (and hilarious) conversation. The cast starts off and Ben is already in the bag, having guzzled a few liters of home brew cider, but puts out some great info on Final Fantasy III while Jaime backs him up. Kerry lays his heart on the line for Donkey Kong Country as it was his first pre-ordered game ever. Andrew tries to make a case for NBA Jam:TE but Ben's dislike for Charles Barkley's 3-pointers leaves Andrew gasping for air as he's thoroughly trounced. Then comes the major battle as Curtis spearheads the assault for Earthworm Jim and Andrew fights for Super Metroid. In what is probably the most ridiculous conversation yet, the LP2 banter and make shit up until only one game is left standing. This podcast is over an hour long and is guaranteed to make your sides hurt with laughter.
