Ben

Lunchpail Platoon Podcaster:Ben

Given an Atari ST PC and box of 50 pirated games in 1986, Ben was forced to game without the aid of instruction manuals in the early years. With games like Autodule and Brataccas, Ben often had to create his own back-story to what he was seeing on the screen; this day dreaming almost certainly helped him develop a healthy imagination. Looking back now, Ben feels that the imaginitiveness and creativity of those late 80's Atari games far exceeded anything coming out of Japan at that time, and are truly in a category of their own for all time.

Ben is a crusty bastard now, and 20 years later he still hasn't beaten Brataccas - a game he was eventually pleasantly surprised to discover has an instruction manual that is about as vague as one could write... even including pages that were "intentionally left blank".
