Lunchpail Platoon Podcaster: Andrew

Choplifter on the ColecoVision at a friends. Combat on the Atari 2600 Jr. at his cousins. Mario Bros and Duck Hunt while at the babysitters. These are the first few videos games that crossed Andrew's plate as a youngster, his interest in them solidifying his role as geek for life. You'd have thought with this incredible start he'd have been a professional gamer by the age of nine, but alas his parents didn't allow video game consoles in the house. The occasional computer came home from work though, and hours were lost playing Brickles and Spectre on an Apple II, or Golden Axe on a 386. Finally his parents caved and a SNES entered the home, cementing him as a console gamer first and foremost.

Many games have stolen days, weeks, months from Andrew; Marathon 2: Durandal, Super Mario Kart, Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Super Metroid, Street Fighter, Goldeneye, Zelda: DX, Mario Golf, Final Fantasy VII, Halo, Burnout 3: Takedown or Portal. He was partly responsible for the Halo Machinima called Fire Team Charlie, but would rather be known as the only human being to ever unlock the Demon Car in Cruis'n World, an accomplishment paralleled only by his idiocy for embarking on such a retarded quest.

Andrew currently works as a Particle Accelerator Design Engineer in Stittsville where he lives with his wife and beloved computer.
