We've talked here before about Lucas Arts games, and just this week they've released a new 2D puzzle solver called Lucidity to very well received reviews. Let's take a quick look at this game.

The game is described as being a puzzle solver where you play as a little girl named Sofi in a dream world that is animated very much like a children's storybook. It sounds like it's playing on the recent success of games like Braid and World of Goo, both with interesting art, thought provoking puzzles and most importantly a good dose of fun.

Take a trip into the surreal childlike dreamscapes of Sofi, a little girl filled with a persistent desire to explore new worlds and overcome all
obstacles in her way.

The story sounds interesting, and so does the gameplay. As the main character Sofi runs through all these landscapes, you actually aren't controlling Sofie, she runs on her own. It is your job to think and act quickly to keep her safe on her journey, placing objects and solving puzzles to keep her out of harms way.

Skillfully place unique puzzle pieces designed to propel Sofi to and from suspended platforms, or over and under obstacles, in an effort to maintain her state of perpetual motion.

This game is now available on Steam for the PC and on XBLA for the 360. I look forward to checking it out, so let me know if you've played it yet and what you think.
